Located in the heart of Toronto’s beautiful Cabbagetown neighbourhood, the Cabbagetown Co-operative Nursery School has offered young children a wonderful first-time school experience for over 25 years.

Licensed through the Day Nurseries Act and regulated by the Ministry of Community and Social Services, our programs allow your child to play, learn and socialize in a warm and caring environment.

At the Cabbagetown Co-operative Nursery School children learn about themselves and others through play. Tina Ruggiero, our teacher, treats the children with a unique blend of respect and warmth to create a stimulating and fun classroom atmosphere. Tina works with each child to help him or her feel joy, build self-confidence and learn to play with others.

We offer two unique half-day programs for children aged 2 to 5 years. Choose the class that is perfect for your child's development and schedule.
