Junior Class

Age: 2 1/2 years to 4 years of age

The junior class offers an opportunity for children to learn and play in a warm, caring co-operative atmosphere. The school emphasizes the development of improved language skills and problem solving strategies as well as increasing attention span. Tables are set out each day to allow children to experience a wide range of activities; e.g., a sand table, a water table, easel paints and special props. Activities include baking, arts and crafts, field trips, singing and storytelling.

Time: 8:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday to Friday

Ratio: 16 children maximum -- One E.C.E. teacher and one teacher's assistant or one E.C.E. teacher and two parents

Enrollment Options: 3 days per week/ 4 days per week/ 5 days per week Acting as a duty parent one morning per week is available for parents with a child enrolled 3, 4 or 5 days per week
